TURKEY CLUB SANDWICHES WITH HERB MAYONNAISE | |
1 c. mayonnaise 1/2 c. loosely packed basil leaves 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley 1 tbsp. chopped fresh thyme salt & pepper 24 slices white bread (optional: toasted) 1 lb. turkey breast 1 large tomato bacon lettuce Mix mayonnaise, basil, parsley and thyme. Season with salt and pepper. Chill. For each sandwich: spread mayonnaise on 3 slices of bread, layer 2 slices turkey and 2 slices tomato on one slice; top with another slice-mayo side up. Add 2 slices of bacon and a lettuce leaf and top with the third slice of bread, mayo side down. Submitted by: Karen LaValley |
