1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
4 sm. apples, grated
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. coconut
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix cake ingredients in order given. Put batter in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
