FRESH APPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
3 c. all purpose flour
1 c. chopped pecans
3 c. chopped fresh apples
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

GLAZE:

Bring to a boil 1 stick butter, 1/4 cup milk, and 1 cup brown sugar. Pour over hot cake.

With only slight alterations, I've baked this cake for years -- we love it! The only problem is that it nearly always sticks when coming out of the bundt pan. I've tried cooling it in the pan or not; I've tried pouring the glaze on while it's in the pan or waiting until it's turned out. Nothing seems to work consistently. I'd love to know experiences regarding when to remove it from the pan and when to add the glaze. Thanks!

I have the same problem in removing cake from pan. I even purchased a heavy non-stick pan....but for some reason, this will always stick in at least one spot. I finally just gave up and decided to just cut this piece out and eat it prior to serving.......you can blame the missing slice on anyone - ha!
