MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN | |
1 c. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. corn syrup 1/2 tsp. baking soda 3-5 quarts popped corn Bring brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt to boil in 2 quart glass microwaveable dish. Boil 2 minutes on high. Remove from oven; stir in soda. Put popcorn in brown grocery bag. Pour syrup mixture over corn and microwave 4 1/2 minutes at high. Shake every 45 to 60 seconds so corn won't be sugary. Spread caramel corn on waxed paper to cool. Store in tight container. |
