MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3-5 quarts popped corn

Bring brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt to boil in 2 quart glass microwaveable dish. Boil 2 minutes on high. Remove from oven; stir in soda. Put popcorn in brown grocery bag. Pour syrup mixture over corn and microwave 4 1/2 minutes at high. Shake every 45 to 60 seconds so corn won't be sugary. Spread caramel corn on waxed paper to cool. Store in tight container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
