MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
16 c. popped popcorn
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Microwave syrup mixture in large "tall" pitcher or bowl for 2 minutes on "high" (stir) microwave 3 minutes longer. (Stir often each minute.) Stir in 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Pour syrup over popcorn in brown paper bag; shake well (about 3 minutes). Pour on cookie sheet or wax paper to cool or make balls.

SYRUP MIXTURE:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. light corn syrup
Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
