HARD DUMPLINGS (SMALL BATCH)
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 beaten egg
2/3 cup milk or water
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients together. If the dough seems sticky add a little more flour until the dough sticks together and not the bowl. Then drop by little teaspoons into your boiling soup or stock.

Simmer for about 5 minutes.

Note: I like to add a few spices to my dumplings so they taste not so blah. Like using garlic salt instead of regular salt or Natures seasonings sprinkle in the dough.

This recipe yields about 40 to 50 cooked tablespoon sized dumplings.

ENJOY!
