GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
4 slices bacon, chopped
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. flour in 1/3 c. cold water
6-8 med. potatoes
Parsley

Fry out bacon. Drain and save grease. Cook together next 7 ingredients. Dissolve flour in 1/3 cup water and add to liquid. Add reserved bacon grease. When thickened, pour over potatoes. Wash and cook potatoes. Peel and slice or cube potatoes. Add bacon particles and chopped parsley, toss. May be served hot, at room temperature, or cold.
