This is the first time I used this impossible cheeseburger pie.... I always made the traditional one, where you layer it and the cheese goes on top.... But now, I tried this and I will never, ever make the other one again! This was soooo much better. Enjoy! Bob Taylor... Thanks so much!!!!

I knew a Bob Taylor almost 60 years ago. Can I ask what province you live in? I realize you have a common name and I guess that is the reason that I cannot find him.

I use taco seasoning and green chili's and my goodness it has been a family favorite for 20 years and you would think after that long I would remember the milk to bisquick and egg ratio :)

I was not a fan of this! It needs some extra spices, just needs something more...

When you first brown the meat, add seasoning to it. I used a prepared beef seasoning mix. After pouring the mix into the pan, I added a few leaves of fresh rosemary and pushed it down just under the surface. Came out great.

I agree that it needs spices but sure is a great and quick meal. I like the ideas posted for seasoning. I've added sliced tomatoes on top before baking. Adds some moistness.

I thought this was great. My 2 1/2 year old liked it too, so you know it has to be good :) I left out the onions and just added onion powder plus extra cheese and it was great. I served it with a side of pickles to make it a true cheeseburger!! It was really good. Thank you for this recipe.

Love this cheeseburger pie - a big hit with the guys. I did add taco seasoning as well because the first time I made without - was good, but the meat needed a seasoning - now it went from good to great. Enjoy.

This is an awesome recipe! We love it! And for those of you who like the pickle twist, add a good squirt of dill pickle relish to the hamburger meat before baking! AWESOME!
