FRITA'S CHOCOLATE DREAM PIE 
PIE:

1/4 cup cocoa
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 cups half & half
4 egg yolks
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 graham cracker pie crust (I use Keebler)

Combine cocoa, sugar and cornstarch in a heavy saucepan. Whisk together half & half and egg yolks. Gradually whisk egg mixture into cocoa mixture. Bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking constantly. Boil one minute. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla. Cover with plastic wrap, placing the plastic directly on filling in pan. Let stand 30 minutes.

Spoon into crust. Cover and let chill 30 minutes or until set.

TOPPING:

1 cup heavy whipping cream
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
shaved Hershey bar (for garnish)

Beat whipping cream until foamy. Gradually add sugar and vanilla beating until soft peaks form. Spread on pie. Garnish with shaved Hershey bar. Cover and keep refrigerated.
