BREADED BAKED CHICKEN
1 1/2 cups plain dried breadcrumbs (make your own from day old bread!)
5 tsp. steak seasoning (I use Montreal Steak seasoning)
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 (3 to 4 lb.) whole chicken, cut up (on the bone, skin on or off, your choice)
3 to 4 tbsp. olive oil

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Drizzle oil into 13x9-inch baking pan, to lightly coat.

Mix breadcrumbs with seasoning in a large bowl. Spread on a large plate.

Whisk eggs and milk together in same bowl until combined and slightly foamy.

Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, allow excess to drip off.

Dredge chicken pieces in breadcrumb mixture, coating well.

Place coated chicken in baking pan (bone up for breasts and thighs). Repeat for each piece.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Turn pieces over, and bake another 20 minutes.

Remove chicken to serving plate and tent loosely with foil for 10 minutes.

Enjoy!

I used Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs instead of plain and Montreal Steak seasoning as suggested, which gave the chicken fantastic flavor. Baking is my preferred method for cooking chicken because it's less messy than frying. Thank you!
