CRUNCHY ONION HAMBURGER
CASSEROLE
 
1 can Durkee French Fried Onions
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. onion gravy mix, 1 oz.
1 pkg. brown gravy mix, 1 oz.
2 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. instant rice
1 (10 oz.) pkg. peas
1 can (5 oz.) sliced water chestnuts

Brown ground beef and pour off grease. Add gravy mix, water and rice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer about 15 minutes. Stir in thawed peas and water chestnuts. Simmer 5-10 minutes. Stir in onions. Serve with soy sauce.
