CRUNCHY ONION HAMBURGER
CASSEROLE
 
1 sm. can fried onion rings
1 lb. hamburger
1 1/2 c. water
1 pkg. onion gravy mix
1 1/2 c. water
1/3 c. rice, uncooked
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen peas
1 can (5 oz.) water chestnuts

Brown hamburger and pour off fat. Blend in gravy mix, garlic salt, water and uncooked rice. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in peas and water chestnuts. Continue to simmer until rice is tender. Stir in fried onion rings. Serve with soy sauce if desired.
