CRESIA - ITALIAN CHEESE BREAD | |
3 pkgs. dry yeast (dissolved in 1 cup warm water) 6 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup oil 2 tsp. black pepper 2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar (optional) 4 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups grated Italian cheese Mix all dry ingredients together, then add all other ingredients and knead until smooth and elastic. Place in lightly greased bowl and cover, let set in warm place until double in bulk. Punch down and shape into loaves. Place in greased bread pan and let rise again in warm place until double in bulk. Bake about 1 hour at 350°F. While still hot, brush top with butter. |
