SMOKED SAUSAGE, EGG AND HASH BROWN CASSEROLE | |
10 eggs 1/4 cup onion, minced 1/4 cup milk 1/3 cup dairy sour cream 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup 1 (1 lb.) pkg. smoked sausage, diced 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 4 or 5 cups shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed salt and pepper, to taste Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all ingredients together in a well greased 13x9-inch glass dish. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 55 minutes. Serve with warm biscuits or toast. Variations: Browned and drained pork sausage. Crisp fried crumbled bacon. Chopped ham. Green, yellow or red peppers. Different cheeses such as shredded Swiss. Submitted by: Becky Terrill |
