BARBECUE RIBS 
8 to 10 lbs. ribs
3 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cooking oil
4 c. tomato sauce
3/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. red pepper

Wash ribs. Sprinkle 3 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice and pepper over ribs. Allow to set for 1 hour. Rub ribs with oil before putting on the fire. Mix remainder of ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes. Baste ribs with sauce while cooking, careful not to burn. Meat is done when it begins to separate from bone. Serves 8 to 10.
