BARBECUE STYLE RIBS 
2 1/2 to 3 lbs. country style ribs
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. pepper
For hot - 1/4 tsp. red pepper (optional)

Place ribs, bone side down, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Drain. Meanwhile, cook onion and garlic in oil in medium saucepan until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients; simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon sauce over ribs. Bake ribs, covered, 1 hour more or until done, spooning sauce over ribs occasionally. Also good for grill.
