BACON DOG MAC' | |
There's something about eating this with a warm slice of toast that just does it for me! 1/2 lb. thick-cut smoked bacon 4 beef n' cheddar hot dogs (I prefer Nathans, any ol' dog will do though) 1 box macaroni n' cheese (Kraft) 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 tbsp. Season-All (Lawry's) 1/2 cup milk 4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter 1/2 cup chopped green onions 8 slices sandwich bread (I toast mine) Pan fry bacon to crispy. Chop and set aside. Cook mac n' cheese to directions, add sliced hot dogs during the last 4-5 minutes of boil time for the pasta. Drain and add the rest of the ingredients except the green onions, optionally top with the onions if desired. Note: Health freak wife warning -- may not approve. Submitted by: Pat Lovette |
