BEST - EVER PORK CHOPS 
1 yellow apple, peeled & chopped
1/4 c. white wine, or water or beer
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 lb. sauerkraut, fresh or canned, rinsed with cold water & drained well
4 pork chops (1" thick) or 4 country ribs or 4 pork steak
4 tbsp. prepared barbecue sauce

Place 1st 5 items in baking dish. Top with meat and spread 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce over each piece of meat. Cover with foil and bake, undisturbed, in preheated oven 275 degrees for 3 hours.
