BRUNCH SANDWICH 
16 slices white bread
Slices of ham
Slices of cheese (Old English or sharp cheddar)
4 eggs, beaten
3 c. milk
Salt and pepper to taste

In a large casserole, place 8 slices of bread. Top these with slices of ham, then cheese, then top with the remaining slices of bread. Combine the eggs, milk and seasonings until well blended. Pour this mixture over the sandwiches and let stand overnight in the refrigerator. This must be done! Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Serve hot.
