AUNT ELIZABETH'S BRUNCH | |
Take 12 slices of white bread and cut off crusts. Spread sliced with butter and mustard. With cookie cutter cut out rounds of bread, then line 9 x 13 inch pan with scraps of bread. Over bread put a layer of grated sharp cheddar cheese (1 cup). Add: 2 c. ground ham 1 pkg. frozen broccoli, barely cooked & well drained 1/4 c. minced onion Place bread rounds on top with butter and mustard side down. Beat together 12 eggs and 3 1/2 cups of milk. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over mixture and top with 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese. Top with paprika and parsley. Let stand overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serves approximately 15. |
