This is a family favorite--adults & kids love it. I lost the recipe and was going from faulty memory--so was happy to find. A very light cake--even dieters can enjoy since frosting is light.

This cake was 'always' requested at every dinner party I ever planned for over 30 years. I baked this cake without the recipe all those years. I do not have dinner parties any longer, however, I have many family birthdays in Jan/Feb and wanted to share this super cake again. Thank you for keeping this great cake in print for us old timers.

I am so happy to find this recipe. My mom always made this cake for my birthday and on many other occassions - I can't wait to make it and revisit those happy memories!

Love this cake. Asked my stepson what I could bring to his house for Easter and he said the lemon lime cake. Great idea since its light and springy! Great Easter dessert!

i made this cake for a mardi gras parade that i attended with my coworkers.. the cake is green on the inside i added yellow to the icing and purple icing dots with green sprinkles. i think it made a cute mardi gras cake
