DANISH CHERRY BALLS 
1/2 c. soft butter
1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
Pinch of salt
1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, salt, vanilla. Mix with fingers (form a ball of dough). Break off a piece of dough and flatten it and fold around a cherry to make a small ball. The smaller the better. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. (Bottom will be brown). Cool and roll in icing.

ICING:

1 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
