CHERRY-ALMOND BALLS 
3/4 c. butter
1/3 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. chopped almonds
Whole candied cherries (60)

Cream together butter, confectioners' sugar, vanilla, salt until light and fluffy. Add flour and almonds. Mix well. Use a teaspoon of dough and roll around each candied cherry. Place on baking sheet at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. Roll in confectioners' sugar. Makes 5 dozen.
