1 c. butter, no substitute
1/4 c. confectioners sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. ground nuts
3 dozen candied cherries

Cream butter and sugar. Add rest except cherries. Take one teaspoon of dough and roll around cherry. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake 30-35 minutes at 325 degrees. Roll in powdered sugar while warm if you wish.
