SCALLOPED APPLES 
2 (20 oz.) cans sliced pie apples
1/2 c. sugar

TOPPING:

1 c. quick oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter, melted
1/3 c. flour

Put apples and sugar in saucepan and cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and apples are a little softer. Put apples in a 2-quart baking dish. Mix topping ingredients and spread over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Serve hot. 6 to 8 servings.
