HERSHEY'S EASY DOES IT CHOCOLATE COOKIES | |
1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) butter, softened 2 cups sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour 3/4 cup Hershey's cocoa 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup finely chopped nuts (optional) Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs and vanilla. Blend well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts if desired. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 8 to 9 minutes. Cookies will be soft. Cool on cookie sheet until set, about 1 minute. Makes 4 1/2 dozen. |
