HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. (12 oz. pkg.) Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large mixer bowl cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake approximately 7 minutes or until very lightly browned. Makes 6 dozen.

Pan Recipe: Spread batter in jelly-roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into bars. About 4 dozen.

I've made these cookies so many times and its been a hit, especially if you wanted to add more to the mix i love coconut and added it in it makes it a bit gooey with more choc-chips...it's a winner!
