PICCADILLY STRAWBERRY PIE | |
1 pt. strawberries 1 c. water 1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. light Karo 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 pkg. strawberry Jello 1 baked and cooled pie shell Whipped cream (1 sm. bowl) Combine water and cornstarch until dissolved. Add sugar and Karo and cook until thickened. Remove from heat and add Jello until dissolved. Cut up strawberries in pie shell. Pour above mixture over berries and cool in refrigerator until jelled. Top with whipped cream and garnish with berries. |
