SCALLOPED CORN | |
1 (1 lb.) can cream style corn (2 c.) 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. cracker or bread crumbs 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. chopped green pepper or 2 tbsp. chopped pimento 1 tbsp. butter Salt and pepper Heat oven to 350 degrees (moderate). Combine all ingredients. Pour into 1-quart baking dish. Bake 35 minutes. 4 servings. SCALLOPED CORN AND HAM: Make scalloped corn except add 1 cup diced cooked ham. CHEESE SCALLOPED CORN: Make scalloped corn except add 1/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese. |
