CABBAGE CHOWDER 
2 c sliced carrots
2 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp caraway seed
2 cans condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 soup can milk
1 soup can water
3 c finely shredded cabbage
1 lb. smoked sausage, sliced

In large kettle, combine carrots, butter, caraway seed and cook about 5 minutes until carrots are tender.

Add soup, water, cabbage and sausage and bring to boil. Reduce heat and cook until cabbage is tender, about 15 minutes.

Makes about 2 qts or 6-8 servings.
