12 oz. chocolate chips 2 tbsp. vegetable shortening 1 bag Kraft caramels 5 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. water 1 c. peanuts Melt chocolate chips with shortening over hot water or use microwave. Melt caramels, butter and water. Add peanuts. Put half of chocolate chips in 8x8 inch pan. Cool in refrigerator for 15 minutes. Put melted caramels over chocolate chips. Put in refrigerator for 15 minutes. Cover with rest of chocolate chips. Keep refrigerated. |
