BETTER THAN SNICKERS® BARS | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips 1 pkg. caramels (40) 5 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. shortening 2 tbsp. water 1 c. coarsely chopped peanuts Melt chocolate chips and shortening. Pour half of the mixture in a foil-lined greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Refrigerate 15 minutes. Melt caramels, butter, and water then add peanuts. Pour caramels, peanut mixture over the cooled chocolate mixture, cool 15 more minutes in refrigerator. Pour remaining chocolate over caramel layer and chill about 20 more minutes. Store in refrigerator. Better than a SNICKERS® bar. |
