CHESAPEAKE BAY SOFT SHELL CRABS 
12 Maryland soft shell crabs, cleaned
Salt and pepper
Flour
1/4 tsp. seafood seasoning
butter, butter, or oil for frying

Dry crabs with paper towel. Place dry seasonings in paper bag. Place each crab in bag, one at a time, shaking gently to coat. Add more seasoning, if necessary. When all crabs are coated, heat fat until hot; cook crabs in fry pan, quickly, about 5 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towel before serving. Serves 6.
