“MEAT LOAF” IS IN:
NEXT RECIPE:  MEDITERRANEAN CHICKEN

MEAT LOAF 
1 lb. beef
1 lb. veal
Small piece suet
1/4 lb. bread
1/4 cup chopped walnuts, optional
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
Onion and celery salt
1/2 cup canned tomato
Bacon

Grind meat and suet. Beat egg well, add meat, nuts, seasoning, tomato, and bread soaked in water and squeezed dry. Mix throughly, form into loaf, lay strips of bacon on top, place in roasting pan in which 1 tablespoon fat has been melted.

Bake in oven 350°F for 1 hour.
