This recipe is absolutely the easiest I have ever read and the result is a delicious, foolproof cobbler. Use store bought crust or make your own but try it. I used Braeburn apples, which means I got the tart of the apples and the sweet of the sugar for contrast. Can hardly wait to put on whipped or ice cream.

This was easy and tastes wonderful! It is nice to have the crust from days of old, like when my grandmothers used to make their cobblers.

This is like the recipe that I have grown up with. Most do not have a botton crust or layer the apples with dough either. The only things that I thought were missing was vanilla, lemon juice and nutmeg. GREAT!!!!

So glad I found this recipe! Most of the cobblers are made without pie crusts and this one is very close to my grandmother's. Thanks very much!
