EAGLE BRAND LEMON PIE 
1 can Eagle Brand milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. lemon juice

EGG WHITE TOPPING:

2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 c. sugar

Blend together the base, pour into a prepared pie shell and chill. While chilling, mix topping together until foamy and makes peaks. Put on top of base pie and brown in an oven.

I first had this pie 32 years ago when my mother-in-law introduced me to it... YUMMY!!!! I still make it for my husband on THANKSGIVING, and CHRISTMAS....it just reminds him of his mom... Its so yummy!!!!

I visted an eatery recently and picked up a piece of lemon pie. It tasted just like the one my mom use to fix when I was a little girl growing up. I believe it is the same recipe as yours. Anyway it brought back memories of my family at Christmas dinner.

My mother made this all my life. Her twist: She was not a fan of meringue... So she made it, then folded it into the lemon mixture. It baked up, slightly golden on top!. Crumbled a graham cracker over top, and served with Cool Whip as desired! Delicious!!!

Best lemon pie recipe ever, I've been making it without changing the recipe for over 50 years since I was a child. Though it is no longer there, the recipe was originally printed on the reverse side of the Eagle Brand can label. Sure glad I found it before tossing the can in the trash. It has brought over 5 decades of pleasure to four generations of my family. Incidentially, I've Googled numerous lemon pie recipes over the years and some of the most noted TV chefs, un-named to stay out of trouble here, use exactly this recipe. Any further doubts?

My grandmother and mom made this pie , but for the pie crust they would lay vanilla wafers in pie plates...then crushed some wafers and sprinkled over the wafers...all of my family, especially great grandkids make this pie on holiday in memory of their grandparents.
