8 cups ham, finely chopped
4 cups celery, finely chopped
1 1/2 cups sweet onions, finely chopped
1 quart Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
1 pkg. elbow or ring macaroni
1 cup French dressing
half and half (as needed)
1/2 tsp. ground celery seed
1 tsp. granulated garlic
1 tsp. Coleman's English Mustard (optional)
lettuce leaves

Boil macaroni according to package directions; toss with 1 or 2 tablespoons of olive oil or Miracle Whip and refrigerate in a Ziploc bag.

In a large bowl, combine all remaining ingredients and mix well. Stir in chilled macaroni; moisten as needed with half and half.

Spoon each portion onto cupped lettuce leaves (Buttercrunch lettuce makes a good base). Top with a light sprinkling of chopped fresh parsley and/or paprika for extra color. Serve with flatbread, sesame crackers, crostini or bread sticks or provide a choice of all of the above.

Potato salad and dill pickles make good accompaniments.
