BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
Best if prepared the night before - cover and refrigerate. Then breakfast can cook in the morning with no effort or mess! 4 slices bread 1 lb. bacon or sausage 1 cup grated sharp cheese 6 eggs 2 cups milk 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. salt pepper, to taste Grease 13x9-inch casserole dish. Tear bread and put in casserole. Brown and drain bacon or sausage. Crumble over bread. Sprinkle with cheese. Beat eggs with milk, mustard and seasonings. Pour over mixture in casserole. Bake for 35 minutes at 350°F. Serves 4 to 6. |
