“BREAKFAST CASSEROLE” IS IN:

BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
Best if prepared the night before - cover and refrigerate. Then breakfast can cook in the morning with no effort or mess!

4 slices bread
1 lb. bacon or sausage
1 cup grated sharp cheese
6 eggs
2 cups milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper, to taste

Grease 13x9-inch casserole dish. Tear bread and put in casserole. Brown and drain bacon or sausage. Crumble over bread. Sprinkle with cheese. Beat eggs with milk, mustard and seasonings. Pour over mixture in casserole. Bake for 35 minutes at 350°F.

Serves 4 to 6.

This recipe is awesome! My father found it and passed it on to me. The only thing that I do differently is add two pounds of bacon instead of the 4 slices and 6 slices of bread. Then again I feed a family of 7. This is great for Holidays such as Christmas no fuss no muss just make it up the night before and you have breakfast all prepared. Also great for family gatherings or right before an important event.
