PINEAPPLE - NUT SQUARES 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
20 oz. crushed pineapple & juice
1/2 c. nuts

TOPPING:

1 c. soft butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. nuts

Mix ingredients for squares and pour into 9 x 12 inch ungreased pan; bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Combine topping ingredients, beat well and put on cool cake. Cut into small squares.
