APPLE, SAUERKRAUT, SMOKEY LINKS CASSEROLE | |
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 or 2 apples, depending on size 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 c. cider vinegar 1 (1 lb.) pkg. smokey links sausage Wash, core and cut apples into bite-sized pieces. Mix sauerkraut, onion and apple in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix brown sugar and cider vinegar and pour over kraut mixture. Top with smokey link sausage, cover, and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. |
