CRUNCHY BEEF BAKE CASSEROLE | |
1 (7 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni (2 c. uncooked) 1 lb. ground beef 1 c. (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup 3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes, cut up 1/4 c. chopped green pepper 3/4 tsp. salt 1 (3 oz.) can Durkee & C Real French Fried Onions Prepare macaroni as directed on package; drain. Brown ground beef; drain. Combine all the ingredients except onions. Pour half the mixture into a 2 quart casserole. Add 1/2 can onions. Pour remaining mixture over onions. Cover, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake, uncovered, 5 minutes longer. Makes 4 to 6 servings. |
