K & W EGG CUSTARD PIE | |
3 eggs 1/2 tsp. salt 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk 1 1/2 c. boiling water 1 tsp. vanilla Cinnamon 1 deep dish pie shell Beat eggs and salt until frothy. Set aside. Pour boiling water into sweetened condensed milk and beat well. Continue beating, gradually adding egg mixture; add vanilla and pour into deep dish pie shell. Cinnamon may be sprinkled on top. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 300 degrees and cook for 25 minutes. Do NOT over cook - pie will be "shaky" but will firm up when cooled. |
