This recipe is perfect! I'll use it from now on. I have also added 1/4 cup sour cream instead of milk.

YUM!! Made this tonight and it was PERFECT! I added about a tablespoon of olive oil but it was great before adding the olive oil. Sweet and just like cole slaw is supposed to taste!

It was so awesome! I have never tasted any homemade coleslaw that good before. I'm never going to use a different one.

Great tasting. Super easy to make with ingredients already in the cupboard. I used to buy it in a bottle. No more.

This is a great basic recipe! I ended up adding about a 1/2 tablespoon of mustard to give it an extra zing. Thanks for posting!

Thank you for this excellent recipe. I ran out of my usual brand of cole slaw dressing and decided I would make my own. Found this site and your recipe, and I am so glad I did! This recipe is quick, easy, and delicious. The only thing I did different was add a bit of Colman's mustard for a little extra kick. I will definitely be making this again and again.

I thought I was the only one who did the mustard thing! I put it in tuna salad as well.

Here is a recipe that will bring a tear to your eye it's so good. Same as original but use Late Harvest Zin Wine Vinegar and with celery seeds and a shot of Honey Mustard. Everything else the same.

Wow, this is exactly what I was looking for. I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise, so I used Miracle Whip. Plus I have to watch my sugar intake, so I used 3 packets of Equal instead of sugar. Yummmmmy! Thanks

 Joanie (Oregon) replies:
Check your label on your jar of Miracle Whip; they (briefly?) changed the recipe to mayonnaise plus high fructose corn syrup. Be sure your jar shows the original recipe with sugar and vinegar. Or you can use mayonnaise and add sugar and vinegar yourself.

The only thing I added was a tablespoon of cream horseradish sauce. I made it last night. My husband loved it so much I'm making it again tonight.
