I used recipe but did half sour cream/half mayo, no milk. My extra kick is paprika to taste! Thanks!

I've always made my cole slaw dressing like this, mostly because it's the way my mom always made it and she passed it along to me. To me and to my family, it makes the perfect cole slaw. Over the years I've tried to take a shortcut and buy bottled, but not one ever stood up to this homemade, old-fashioned version. It's easy to make using on-hand ingredients. One time we had out of town company for dinner and I made this. Our male guest couldn't stop raving. If you haven't tried it with sloppy joe's, give it a try sometime. Just make your sandwich and pile the slaw on. (Well, it's supposed to be sloppy, isn't it?) I promise it's like nothing you've ever tried before. It's also great on sliced cucumbers. Place in refrigerator for about 2 hours after adding the slaw dressing and stir a little before serving. A tasty side dish.

If you want a REAL KFC taste for coleslaw - has only 5 ingredients....

1/2 head of cabbage (shredded), 1 carrot (shredded)... Dressing: 1/2 cup mayo, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup Cider Vinegar.

OLD FAMILY RECIPE... and it IS exact! Could not find the location for submitting new recipes... but nothing touches this one.

I made this dressing for my coleslaw this past weekend. I had several people asking for the recipe and three people who said they never eat coleslaw loved it. I used apple cider vinegar (with a little extra than what the recipe calls for). This will be our summer favorite :)

Wonderful. I used 1/4 cup mayo, 1/4 cup low fat yogurt and less than 1 tbsp. of sugar and it tasted GREAT. Lower calories and all the flavor!

Yummy! This is a delicious and easy way to make coleslaw dressing. I have never made it before until today, and at first I though ewww vinegar. The vinegar actually adds a nice tang to the sweetness of the dressing. I will definitely be using this a lot! :)

Tried and true recipe. I only use 1 tbsp. sugar and shred my own cabbage (1/2 large head) and carrots (about 5 med-large). Must let it sit in the fridge for several (6 or so) hours. Stir before serving. Wonderful!
