OLD FASHIONED EGG CUSTARD PIE 
4 tbsp. sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
4 eggs
2 cups milk
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
nutmeg, for sprinkling (optional)

Mix well. Pour into uncooked pie shell; sprinkle with nutmeg if desired. Bake at 300°F until custard is set and lightly brown.
