APPLE DUMPLING DESSERT | |
1 (10 count) can country-style refrigerated biscuits 2 c. peeled apples, thinly sliced 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 1/2 c. evaporated milk 1/2 c. dark corn syrup 1/4 c. butter Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease an 8 inch square baking dish. Separate biscuits into 10 individual ones and place on bottom of buttered dish. Arrange apple slices over top. In small saucepan, combine all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour hot syrup over apples and biscuits. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes or until golden brown and biscuits are done in the center. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream. |
