HOT FRUIT SALAD 
1 can peaches
1 can pears
1 can chunk pineapple
1 can Royal Anne cherries
1 sm. jar maraschino cherries
1 can either purple plums or prunes
8 oz. can applesauce
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. butter

Drain fruit and cut in chunks. Blend butter and sugar over heat until smooth. Add applesauce. Remove from heat. Mix with fruit. Put in a large casserole or 9"x13" pan. Cook, uncovered, 1 hour at 350 degrees. If desired, you can sprinkle 3 tablespoons brown sugar and chopped nuts on top before baking.
