EGG PIE 
3 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Nutmeg, if desired
Pie crust (deep dish)

Melt butter. Heat milk to scalding. Beat eggs slightly, add sugar and flavoring to eggs. Stir into milk. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 475 degree for 10 minutes. Lower temperature to 375 degrees and bake 10 more minutes. Use a deep dish pie crust.
