1 c. Crisco
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk
Add milk to yolk to make 2/3 c.

Mix as for pie crust. Roll out 1/2 of dough put in 10 x 15 x 1 inch pan (jelly roll size). Add 12 sliced apples. Sprinkle apples with 1 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

Roll out top crust place on apples. Spread crust with one beaten egg white and little sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Drizzle powdered sugar icing on top while warm.
