3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. quick oats
1 pkg. chocolate candy bars
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. nuts (optional)

Cream butter and white sugar, add brown sugar; mix. Blend in salt, soda, egg and vanilla. Add flour and oats, add nuts (optional). Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven, place chocolate square on top then place nut half on top of chocolate.
